Welcome to the Luminous dance community. Join us for our monthly Luminous collaboration as we mark the New Moon with our signature style of conscious dance.
DJ Gumbo will play two waves of afro-inspired music from around the world. Bring an instrument to join in, or simply pick up a drum or shaker to add to the vibes. After the dance feel free to chat, jam, or enjoy the facilities.
Doors open at 6:30pm with slow, gentle music while people arrive. At 7pm DJ Gumbo leads us into the dance journey, the dance closes with a circle at 8:45pm, and from 9pm you are welcome to chat, eat or jam.
Please arrive on time and wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in. This is a phone-free, alcohol-free space with no footwear on the dance floor, and over 18s only. Stay hydrated and bring a bottle.
