Reformer is strength with intention: controlled, low-impact and deeply precise, building length and stability from the centre out. Expert-led and quietly demanding, whether it’s your first time on the springs or your hundredth.
The benefits of Reformer Pilates
Reformer builds real, usable strength from the inside out. The sprung carriage adds smooth, adjustable resistance to every movement, so you work deeper than a mat class while staying kind to your joints. Here is what a regular practice gives you.
A stronger core. Every exercise works from your centre, building the deep abdominal and back strength that supports everything else you do.
Full-body strength, low impact. The springs load your muscles without pounding your joints, which is why Reformer suits everyone from first-timers to seasoned athletes.
Better posture and alignment. Slow, precise, controlled movement undoes the slump of desk days and teaches your body to hold itself well.
Flexibility and mobility. You move through a full range under control, building length and suppleness alongside strength.
Balance, stability and control. The moving carriage challenges the small stabilising muscles bigger machines miss, sharpening coordination.
Long, lean and strong. Reformer tones and defines without bulk, and you stand taller the moment you step off the springs.
Made for every level. Spring tension scales to you, so beginners and regulars train side by side, each at the right resistance.

How to prepare for your first class
Wear grip socks. They are required on the Reformer for grip and hygiene, no bare feet or trainers on the carriage. Forgot yours? We sell them at reception.
Arrive ten minutes early. It gives you time to check in and lets your coach set up your Reformer and settle you in before class begins.
Wear fitted activewear. Close-fitting kit keeps you clear of the springs and lets your coach see your alignment. Skip anything loose or with zips.
Bring water and a small towel. You will work up more of a sweat than you expect.
Eat lightly beforehand. Leave an hour or so after a proper meal so you can move comfortably.
New to it? Tell us when you book. Every session welcomes first-timers, and your coach will talk you through the springs, straps and settings step by step.
